What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, and other projects.
• Support new construction, structural investigations, rehabilitations, and renovations.
• Design structures using steel, wood, concrete, and precast/prestressed concrete systems.
• Interpret building codes and standards and prepare structural plans, specifications, details, and design calculations.
• Conduct construction observations and coordinate with architects and civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

Requirements

• MS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering registration.
• 4–5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with RISA, STAAD, SAP, or similar structural analysis software.
• Knowledge of construction practices and methods, with strong communication, organization, teamwork, and deadline-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; the role requires operating a company or personal vehicle for business travel.

Nice to have

• Structural Engineering License (SE).
• Revit experience.
• Experience reviewing structural construction.
• Community or volunteer organization experience.
