Senior Analytics Engineer

hirify.global's Product Development – Core Engineering department builds governed data infrastructure, semantic models, and experimentation measurement standards.

What you will do

• Own the Unity Catalog governance model, including catalog and schema architecture, metadata and tagging standards, lineage, grants, and PII controls.
• Define data certification standards, service-level objectives, alert quality practices, and model retirement processes for trustworthy data products.
• Own the governed semantic layer and transformation development loop, including conformed dimensions, canonical entity keys, and shared metric definitions.
• Establish the experimentation measurement framework, including experiment metrics, exposure tables, guardrail metrics, readout correctness, tooling, statistics, and instrumentation architecture.
• Deliver enablement projects that produce reusable patterns for teams across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Deep experience designing data governance models for modern lakehouses, including Unity Catalog or an equivalent platform at multi-catalog scale.
• Expert data modeling skills, including test strategy, incremental model semantics, and decisions about when models should not exist.
• Experience driving adoption of standards, tools, or platforms across teams outside the reporting line.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working autonomously in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
