Senior Big Data Engineer (AdTech)

Location: Latin America, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes with Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Work with large-scale data storage and processing on AWS, including S3, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
• Ensure reliable, consistent data flows between systems.
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with backend developers and DevOps engineers to integrate and deploy data components.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting, participate in architecture design, and mentor mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on AWS experience with S3, Glue, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Practical knowledge of PySpark or other distributed processing frameworks.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB, ETL principles, data modeling, performance optimization, and cloud data security.
• Fluent English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring mid-level engineers.
• Experience working in cross-functional, international AdTech environments.
