IT Systems Administrator

Location: On-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States; occasional scheduled after-hours or on-call coverage is required.

What you will do

• Resolve employee IT issues across macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, mobile devices, business applications, accounts, connectivity, MFA, and access.
• Procure, configure, enroll, deploy, recover, securely wipe, redeploy, and track laptops, phones, peripherals, and other equipment.
• Administer users, groups, permissions, licenses, endpoint compliance, and access reviews across identity and business applications.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including device readiness, access provisioning, account suspension, data handling, and device recovery.
• Build and maintain scripts, REST API integrations, SSO provisioning, reporting, logging, alerts, validation, and recovery procedures.
• Document runbooks and changes, support new market launches, and collaborate with People, Engineering, Operations, and employees across multiple locations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in IT systems administration, IT operations, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience supporting employees, administering end-user devices, and managing hardware procurement and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with an identity platform such as JumpCloud, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID, plus Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Experience building IT automation with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable language, including REST APIs, JSON, authentication, logging, and error handling.
• Understanding of SSO, MFA, role-based access, onboarding, and offboarding; experience supporting macOS and Windows is required.
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix and support occasional scheduled after-hours work.

Nice to have

• Experience with JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Asana, Deel, Jamf, Intune, Apple Business Manager, SAML, OIDC, or SCIM.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple countries and time zones.
• Basic networking knowledge covering Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience in a growing company where IT processes and systems are still being established.
• Relevant IT, identity, endpoint management, or security certifications.
