Finance Operations Manager

Location: Office-based five days a week in Enderby, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Build and maintain the annual cash budget model and rolling cash flow forecast.
• Track weekly cash performance against budget, analyse variances, and work with P&L owners to gather inputs.
• Coordinate monthly, half-year, and year-end balance sheet forecasts.
• Reconcile intercompany and related-party balances with Group Finance and business units.
• Manage travel and expense operations, including employee travel spend, corporate credit card expenditure, policy maintenance, and Concur carbon reporting.
• Mentor and line manage one Junior Finance Analyst.

Requirements

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or an equivalent accountancy qualification.
• Strong technical financial expertise and experience building complex cash flow models in Excel.
• Logical, detailed, and analytical approach to complex financial data.
• Ability to explain variance drivers clearly to non-finance stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Experience balancing cash forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, and operational delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in coaching and supporting the development of team members.
