Senior Consumer Compliance Consultant (Mortgage Servicing)

Location: Getzville, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day remote.

Salary: $89,600–$149,300 annual USD

What you will do

• Advise business unit managers on consumer compliance and mortgage servicing matters.
• Analyze and interpret federal and state laws in coordination with Compliance Risk Management.
• Provide technical compliance expertise for business initiatives, product development, issue resolution, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct operational risk and compliance reviews, monitoring, testing, fraud reviews, and regulatory examinations.
• Prepare compliance materials, training content, scripts, management updates, and communications.
• Escalate compliance issues and support the timely resolution of internal audit, external audit, and regulatory findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of relevant industry experience, including at least one year of compliance experience.
• Strong expertise in mortgage servicing and comprehensive knowledge of applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of banking regulations including RESPA, Regulation H, and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act.
• Knowledge of risk management strategies and the financial industry.
• Ability to work four days per week in the Getzville, New York office.
