Retrofit Sales Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; on-site five days per week

What you will do

• Develop retrofit opportunities from Trane’s installed chiller base to achieve service department order, revenue, and margin targets.
• Manage HVAC contracting work from site surveys and technical solution design through presentations, presales, tendering, bidding, quotations, documentation, and contract signing.
• Develop retrofit and renovation solutions involving chillers, pumps, cooling towers, ducting, piping, AFDs, electrical replacement, and energy systems.
• Identify customer HVAC operational pain points during site visits and propose effective total retrofit packages.
• Build sales pipelines and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual order and revenue forecasts.
• Deliver against performance goals while following company safety and compliance policies.

Requirements

• University degree in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in sales and project management.
• Good English communication and negotiation skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Leadership, ownership, customer orientation, integrity, and compliance.
