TL;DR
Facilities Engineering Intern (Electrical/Mechanical/Project Engineering): Supporting facilities and construction projects, electrical and mechanical systems, engineering documentation, Power BI dashboards, and energy-saving initiatives with an accent on hands-on analysis, testing, reporting automation, and system reliability. Focus on coordinating APAC and US project updates, maintaining technical records, supporting factory shutdowns, and improving industrial facility operations.

Location: On-site in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

What you will do

  • Support small- and medium-sized facilities and construction projects, including coordination, meeting updates, reporting, and documentation.
  • Assist electrical or mechanical engineers with analytical and testing tasks to improve system reliability.
  • Maintain engineering records, drawings, parts catalogs, owner's manuals, and operational instructions.
  • Develop automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft tools.
  • Support safety walks, energy conservation projects, and facility maintenance activities.
  • Assist with factory shutdown planning and execution for major electrical-system maintenance.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in the third or fourth year of an undergraduate program in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation and Control, Industrial, Thermal, or related Engineering.
  • Availability for at least six months of internship, preferably up to one year.
  • Fluent English for written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Lists, or SharePoint.
  • Electrical candidates should have an Electrical or Power Engineering background; mechanical candidates should have a Mechanical or Thermal Engineering background.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage systems, UPS, or gensets.
  • Knowledge of industrial HVAC, compressed air, exhaust, vacuum, chilled-water, pump, or related mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance programs, data analytics tools, or problem-solving methods such as 5-Whys and Ishikawa charts.
