Head of APAC (Fintech)

Location: Singapore; hybrid. Regular international travel across APAC is required.

What you will do

• Set the vision, strategy, and execution plan for APAC, with direct ownership of East Asia and a particular focus on China.
• Own the APAC P&L and deliver regional growth and profitability targets.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, pricing, user research, product quality, and customer experience across East Asia.
• Oversee Southeast Asia growth by supporting market leaders, setting priorities, and improving execution.
• Build relationships with diaspora communities, partners, and stakeholders across the payments and financial services ecosystem.
• Lead, coach, hire, and develop high-performing teams across multiple APAC markets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in payments or financial services, including senior leadership in a regulated entity.
• Proven experience scaling a multi-market or regional business with P&L responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of the China payments ecosystem and strong networks across China and East Asia.
• Experience driving consumer acquisition and retention, building sustainable growth, and leading teams across multiple markets.
• Strong commercial judgment, stakeholder management, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required. A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
