Senior Project Engineer (Industrial Construction)

Location: Georgetown, Kentucky, United States; travel up to 75% across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

What you will do

• Lead and manage plant expansions, renovations, and greenfield construction projects.
• Develop design criteria for mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil, and structural building systems.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing facilities and review project submittals.
• Oversee building design, construction, and project management activities against quality, cost, schedule, and safety objectives.
• Mentor engineers, construction coordinators, and project team members.
• Build customer relationships through clear communication and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in building design and construction, including industrial buildings and related systems.
• At least 3 years of leadership, mentoring, or people management experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work additional hours and travel up to 75% as project needs require.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global visa or work authorization sponsorship. A valid driver’s license and compliant motor vehicle record are required.

Nice to have

• Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering degree.
• Professional Engineer license or Registered Architect credential.
• Experience with industrial utilities, power systems, structural steel, civil construction, or projects valued at $20 million or more.
• AutoCAD experience.
