Project Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Review project proposals and plans to determine timelines, funding limitations, procedures, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
• Provide technical expertise for overall project execution, including tool processes, design buy-off, and build integration.
• Coordinate project personnel by defining work plans, duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Review project status reports and adjust schedules or plans as required.
• Prepare project reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice, resolve problems, and support continuous improvement in Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry, preferably closures, BIW, or OEM environments.
• Microsoft Office skills and strong technical aptitude.
• Problem-solving, organizational, teamwork, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally for service and installation.
