Microsoft Windows System Engineer

Location: Grenoble, France

Salary: €3,568.39 per month after tax, plus benefits and financial allowances; excluding 12.99% personal pension and insurance contributions.

What you will do

• Provide first-level and desktop support for Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, and video-conferencing systems.
• Manage software and system deployments using enterprise tools such as Microsoft SCCM and JAMF Pro.
• Configure and maintain user accounts, network access, printing, email, file, and collaboration services.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across supported platforms.
• Document and manage support requests according to IT service management practices.
• Support selected scientific instruments and scientific computing while contributing to service and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in an IT support environment.
• Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS systems, including desktop and mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience integrating desktop and mobile devices with enterprise network, file, email, and collaboration services.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise software deployment and configuration management tools, including Microsoft SCCM or JAMF Pro.
• Knowledge of virtualisation and related technologies.
