System Administrator (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany — onsite. EU citizenship required.

What you will do

• Administer identity, access, MFA, conditional access, and mobile device management platforms.
• Operate productivity, collaboration, IT service management, asset management, wiki, and engineering issue-tracking platforms.
• Support AWS administration, network hardware, VPNs, and office and remote connectivity.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting across macOS, Linux, and Windows endpoints and act as an escalation point for infrastructure issues.
• Evaluate, roll out, and govern AI-assisted coding and productivity tools.
• Contribute to security hardening, documentation, onboarding and offboarding, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 compliance activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, or workplace IT.
• Experience with cloud identity providers, MDM, SSO, SCIM, device policies, and zero-touch enrollment.
• Administrative experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or an equivalent productivity suite.
• Comfort working across macOS, Linux, and Windows, with knowledge of AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Experience with networking hardware, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, endpoint protection, patching, access control, and least privilege.
• Clear written communication and fluent English; German is beneficial but not required.

Nice to have

• Startup or scale-up experience.
• Exposure to SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 audit and certification cycles.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
