Workplace Engineer (Microsoft Intune)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid model with an expectation to work in the office at least three days per week

Salary: €42,000–€70,000 gross annually for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage modern endpoint solutions with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and cloud-native management tools.
• Lead the transition from traditional on-premise endpoint management to an Intune-first, cloud-native architecture.
• Implement endpoint security with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, security baselines, and Zero Trust principles.
• Automate endpoint provisioning, configuration, and compliance using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Manage Entra ID identity and access capabilities, including SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
• Support Microsoft 365 Apps deployment, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and end-user experience improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune as the primary endpoint management platform.
• Proven enterprise experience with Windows Autopilot, device provisioning, compliance policies, and application deployment.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, threat and vulnerability management, and security baselines.
• Solid knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO, MFA, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Strong engineering practices, automation skills, a security-first mindset, and experience working in agile environments.
• Ability to work from the Madrid office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCCM, co-management, and migrations from on-premise endpoint management to Intune.
• Knowledge of Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Autopatch, or Microsoft 365 Apps lifecycle management.
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
• University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field.
