Junior Electrical Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL, United States; in-office environment with remote flexibility when needed

What you will do

• Develop electrical construction documents for water and wastewater, technology facilities, rapid transit, port facilities, industrial plants, and electronic surveillance projects.
• Prepare electrical calculations, engineering studies, computer models, construction plans, and technical specifications.
• Support detailed design, drawing preparation, construction supervision, and project follow-up.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, senior engineers, and designers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Build practical knowledge of power distribution, instrumentation and controls, switchgear, standby power, lighting, SCADA, telemetry, and electrical code compliance.
• Gain hands-on site experience while supporting sector-related assignments.

Requirements

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with little or no professional experience and relevant skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams, learn quickly, adapt to change, and apply technical knowledge to practical engineering problems.
• Transcript, official or unofficial, must be submitted with the application.

• Previous co-op or internship experience.
