Entry Level Electrical Engineer (AutoCAD Electrical)

Location: Hybrid role based in Orlando, Florida, USA; occasional travel to job sites or client locations may be required.

What you will do

• Assist with the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical and Revit.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to verify design integrity and compliance with specifications.
• Support prototype and final-product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and resolution of electrical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior engineers, and project managers to meet project milestones.
• Participate in electrical component selection and evaluation and provide support during construction administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of circuit design, signal processing, power distribution, and electrical engineering principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Work is typically performed in an office setting, with some time spent in existing buildings or on construction sites.

Nice to have

• Internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with IEEE and NEC standards and codes.
• Proficiency with electrical design software, including AutoCAD Electrical.
