Software Development Engineer in Test 2 (SaaS)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; new hires must work onsite at the Columbus, Ohio office during the first week for onboarding.

Base salary with bonus potential; on-target earnings of $120,000–$140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Embed quality practices throughout the software development life cycle by collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain automated regression, functional, UI, and API tests.
• Perform end-to-end, acceptance, exploratory, and manual testing to identify bugs and edge cases.
• Design, document, execute, and maintain test cases across evolving product features.
• Investigate test failures with developers and ensure defects are resolved before deployment.
• Improve testing processes and represent the customer perspective throughout development.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience on a Scrum or Agile team.
• 2+ years of manual and automated testing experience for web applications.
• 1+ year with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools for UI and API testing.
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of the test pyramid and common testing practices.
• Experience with B2B SaaS and AI coding assistants or agentic workflows is required as relevant role experience.
