Senior Test Automation Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Remote in Bengaluru, India. In-person interviews are conducted in Bengaluru.

Salary: 20–32 LPA annually.

hirify.global develops a metadata-aware DevSecOps platform for SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, covering release management, version control, and backup and recovery.

What you will do

• Build and maintain end-to-end UI automation suites with Selenium and Playwright, including page objects, fixtures, data setup, and critical product journeys.
• Develop API tests for GraphQL and REST services, including authentication, authorization, error cases, and tenant-isolation checks.
• Create unit tests for API services and front-end components using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Integrate automated suites into Bitbucket Pipelines and Docker Compose, report results, and gate releases on test outcomes.
• Perform pre-release, post-deployment, database migration, production, load, and performance validation using JMeter or k6.
• Document test plans, coverage, defects, reproduction steps, logs, and release feedback while mentoring other test engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software testing experience, including at least 4 years building test automation.
• Strong Selenium or Playwright experience and proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST API testing, Postman, Rest Assured, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
• Knowledge of Jest or comparable unit-test frameworks, React Testing Library, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, and Gradle.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, Docker Compose, CI pipelines, version control, JMeter, Agile/Scrum, Jira, and static code analysis tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; ability to document processes, analyze root causes, and mentor colleagues.

Nice to have

• Multi-tenant SaaS testing and load testing with k6 or JMeter.
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint, Azure Integration Services, or other integration platforms.
• Security testing basics, OWASP, SSO and OAuth flows, LLM-backed features, or MCP servers.
• Experience with Allure, ReportPortal, or Playwright HTML reporting.
