Quality Assurance Engineer II (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright)

What you will do

• Execute functional, regression, accessibility, API, load, and performance testing within sprint cycles.
• Write and maintain manual and automated test cases using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Run Axe and pa11y scans, document findings, and validate compliance with accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate with developers on exploratory and edge-case testing for new functionality.
• Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and validate test execution at build and check-in.
• Participate in SAFe ceremonies and architecture discussions to improve testability and delivery quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant QA engineering experience and a bachelor's degree, or equivalent additional experience.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright and experience creating manual and automated test plans and cases.
• Experience with Postman or Rest Assured for API testing.
• Working knowledge of Axe, pa11y, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and performance testing concepts.
• Understanding of agile testing methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
• Must meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal digital services or government contracting.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, JAWS, NVDA, or VoiceOver.
• Experience with SAFe, Cucumber Gherkin, behavior-driven development, NeoLoad, JMeter, or Taurus.
