Commercial GL and BI Adjuster

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Investigate commercial general liability losses and establish timely contact with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other parties.
• Assess policy coverage, identify potential coverage issues, and determine liability for third-party claims.
• Handle and settle bodily injury and litigated claims, including reviewing and responding to claim tenders.
• Document damages and coordinate field assignments, inspections, estimates, and loss documentation.
• Maintain claim files, correspondence, notes, and claim diaries throughout the life of each claim.
• Follow client claims guidelines while managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of commercial claims handling experience, including bodily injury claims.
• Multi-line adjuster's license and current evidence of adjuster licensure.
• Experience as a casualty adjuster.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software; ability to prepare reports and correspondence independently.
• Valid driver's license.
