Senior Water Engineer / Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. Employees residing in AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, or PR cannot currently be hired; candidates willing to relocate should indicate this in their application.

Base compensation: $140,000–$180,000 annually, based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects covering treatment, pumping, conveyance, storage, and distribution systems.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Serve as a senior client partner from project planning through delivery and ongoing support.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineers and designers while setting technical direction.
• Develop practical, creative, and resilient solutions to complex water challenges.
• Support business development through proposals, strategic pursuits, and expansion of client relationships and market presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or a related engineering field.
• Professional Engineer registration.
• Significant experience leading the design and delivery of water or wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Authorization to work for any U.S. employer without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex project portfolios.

Nice to have

• Fifteen years of experience leading market or regional growth strategies, business development, client expansion, and delivery performance.
• Experience influencing and collaborating at the executive level on investment priorities and long-term growth plans.
• Experience in or alignment with an employee-owned organization.
