What you will do

  • Lead water and wastewater projects from conception through completion, managing scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to define objectives, requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Perform engineering analyses, feasibility studies, hydraulic evaluations, and detailed water and wastewater system design.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Manage permitting, regulatory compliance, construction activities, site assessments, and design modifications.
  • Develop the Water/Wastewater group in the Loveland area and apply current industry practices and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing water and wastewater engineering projects.
  • Proficiency with hydraulic modeling, CAD design, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information and lead cross-functional teams.
