Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

What you will do

• Prepare and review design plans, technical reports, and engineering specifications.
• Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project deliverables and manage permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal project teams.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and distribution/collection systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, and GIS.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in San Antonio or Castroville, Texas.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one in Texas.
• Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
