Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant (ServiceNow)

Location: On-site in Erskine preferred, or Newcastle and Farnborough; candidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and meet applicable UK Government and contractual security and residency requirements. The role also involves working from home, travelling to client locations, and working on client sites when required.

What you will do

• Provide technical consulting services and contribute to ServiceNow solution design and delivery.
• Participate in client workshops, gather requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
• Configure and develop ServiceNow solutions, including scripting, integrations, testing, demonstrations, UAT, and go-live support.
• Design data models and conversions, configure technical infrastructure components, and produce solution documentation.
• Mentor and train junior consultants while supporting multiple customers.

Requirements

• Several years of ServiceNow design and development experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with experience building custom applications and integrations.
• Programming and scripting experience with JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, AngularJS, PowerShell, and MariaDB.
• Understanding of Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principles, and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to customers and senior management.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom and eligibility to meet applicable UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements are required.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Application Developer certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Additional ServiceNow experience or certifications in HR, CSM, FSM, Service Portal, CMDB, SAM, Discovery, ITOM, ITBM, or PPM.
