Field Service Team Lead (Installations) – West Midlands, UK (Fixed-Term, Minimum 30 Hours/Week)

Location: West Midlands Region, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites. Overnight work, including nights and weekends, is required.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Field Service Technicians during customer-site installations, allocating tasks and managing schedules.
• Mount, connect, configure, onboard, and scan camera hardware according to company standards.
• Conduct site checks and briefings, identify installation risks, and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Act as the primary customer contact on site, escalating issues and supporting SLA delivery.
• Review and sign off completed installations, maintain accurate activity records, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Train team members, enforce safety procedures, operate power tools, and meet installation speed and quality KPIs.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience in field service, installation, construction, or a related area, including experience leading or supervising others.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Technical aptitude and proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Physical stamina for demanding work on foot for periods of up to 9 hours.
• Full valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work overnight, at customer sites, and on weekends is required.
