Medical Field Service Engineer (Medical Technology)

Location: London and surrounding area, including Berkshire; ideally Hayes or West Drayton. Frequent travel within the assigned UK region is required, with occasional travel to other locations in the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

What you will do

• Install, service, repair, and maintain hirify.global medical products in the assigned region.
• Provide technical support for inbound customer and patient calls, document jobs, and complete required follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate service records and close work orders within the same day.
• Maintain and document assigned calibration equipment.
• Build customer and stakeholder relationships while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
• Review service KPIs and adapt working practices to maximize service levels.

Requirements

• Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering field such as medical technology, electronics, or mechanics.
• Approximately three years or more of practical experience in a relevant technical or engineering discipline, with measured KPIs.
• Experience meeting business-critical deadlines, maintaining professional development, and managing customer relationships.
• Strong technical problem-solving, organization, prioritization, administration, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, plus general IT knowledge covering connectivity, network integration, wireless protocols, mobile networks, software support, and cybersecurity standards.
• Full driving license, willingness to work alone, and availability for 24-hour on-call duties when required.
