Field Service Team Lead (Installations) (Retail AI)

Location: West Yorkshire Region, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites. Overnight work, including travel to client locations, is required.

hirify.global develops retail AI solutions using deep-learning computer vision and shelf-mounted cameras to automate and optimise brick-and-mortar retail operations.

What you will do

• Lead, coordinate, and support Field Service Technicians during customer-site installations.
• Install, connect, configure, and oversee the installation of shelf-mounted camera hardware.
• Conduct site checks and briefings, identify risks, and resolve issues to keep installations on schedule and within service-level agreements.
• Act as the primary customer contact, provide progress updates, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Review and sign off completed installations, maintain accurate activity records, and onboard products into the system.
• Train team members, enforce safety procedures, operate power tools, and meet installation speed and quality KPIs.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience in field service, installation, construction, or a related area, including experience leading or supervising others.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, technical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Physical stamina to work on foot and perform demanding tasks for up to 9 hours.
• Full valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation to travel to customer sites required.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends required.
