Product Support - New Product Introduction Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Newport, United Kingdom. Occasional domestic and international travel of up to 30%, including travel to the United States, may be required.

What you will do

• Act as the Voice of Service throughout the product life cycle and develop service strategies for new products across Etch, PVD, CVD, and Release Etch portfolios.
• Create Product Support Plans, Service Readiness Reviews, Design for Service documentation, and Cost of Service models with engineering, marketing, finance, and service teams.
• Build hands-on expertise in system operation, integration, calibration, and diagnostics to support alpha and beta systems, retrofits, and sustaining activities.
• Develop product service education through training classes, augmented reality, coaching, documentation, and knowledge-capture tools.
• Analyze spares obsolescence risks and coordinate mitigation initiatives with supply-chain, engineering, and operations teams.
• Support beta installations in person, audit procedures, identify training gaps, resolve unforeseen issues, and document best-known methods.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree with relevant professional experience.
• Experience as a systems, electrical, mechanical, NPI, or process engineer.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge or experience with industry-standard problem-solving methodologies and models.
• Ability to teach, troubleshoot, collaborate with multidisciplinary groups, and explain sophisticated topics clearly.
