IOP Counselor

Location: On-site in Westminster, Colorado, USA

Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour plus bonus structure

Behavioral Health Group operates Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers providing intensive outpatient, opioid treatment, and office-based opioid treatment services for patients with opioid and other substance use disorders.

What you will do

• Serve as an ambassador for the intensive outpatient program and support program operations and growth.
• Conduct admissions using ASAM Level 2.1 criteria, review assessments, and explain program requirements to prospective patients.
• Provide evidence-based counseling, targeted case management, crisis support, and individualized interventions.
• Deliver Matrix Model, Seeking Safety, and CBT curriculum for at least three hours per day, four days per week.
• Prepare assessments and treatment plans, maintain compliant documentation, and coordinate with billing, care, and clinical teams.
• Build relationships with referral partners, community organizations, and healthcare providers through outreach.

Requirements

• Hold LPC, LADAC I, LADAC II, LCSW, or LMSW licensure, or be enrolled in or willing to begin a formal licensure course of study at hire.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, and social services.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, judgment, discretion, and crisis response abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and work effectively with confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to work on-site in Westminster, Colorado, USA.
• Outreach experience is preferred.
