Senior Snowflake Developer (Airflow)

What you will do

• Develop Snowflake data platform solutions and scalable data pipelines.
• Build and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and materialized views.
• Create Snowflake stored procedures and UDFs using Python and SQL.
• Orchestrate ETL and ELT workflows with Airflow.
• Design data warehouses using layered architecture, Medallion architecture, and dimensional modeling.
• Develop Azure SQL Database and MS SQL structures, optimize complex queries, and improve database performance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall IT experience and 5+ years in data projects.
• Strong experience with Snowflake platform engineering, Snowflake SQL, databases, schemas, tables, views, and materialized views.
• Experience with Snowflake stored procedures and UDFs using Python and SQL, as well as Airflow and Python.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database, MS SQL DB, T-SQL, indexes, partitions, analytical functions, and window functions.
• Experience building data warehouses, applying layered and Medallion architectures, and implementing dimensional modeling.
• Good English and the ability to collaborate across data projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Snowpark, Snowflake CLI, or Master Data Management.
• Experience with data quality testing, validation, reconciliation, and technical documentation.
• Investment banking or asset management domain knowledge.
• Experience with Claude AI in the software development lifecycle.
