Senior Data Platform Engineer (Kubernetes)

hirify.global is hiring for its Data Platform team to build and evolve data infrastructure supporting analytics, product applications, AI workloads, and large-scale model execution.

What you will do

• Build complex, high-volume batch and near-real-time ingestion services and evolve streaming capabilities.
• Design and implement data solutions for application requirements in a distributed microservices environment.
• Develop and optimize large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance.
• Manage Kubernetes infrastructure with KEDA autoscaling for large-scale data processing workloads.
• Own the data stack lifecycle with Terraform and Kubernetes, provide technical guidance, and improve infrastructure, CI/CD, testing, system design, memory management, and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Platform or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Experience building and operating scalable data infrastructure specifically within data lake architectures.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale data processing workloads on Kubernetes, including KEDA-based workload autoscaling.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience managing a data orchestration platform such as Airflow or Prefect.
