Director, Oracle ERP (Oracle EBS)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid-eligible with remote work permitted up to two days per week, or on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $198,000–$297,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead the accounting technology strategy, roadmap, and governance for Oracle E-Business Suite and related finance systems.
• Oversee the design, configuration, maintenance, optimization, upgrades, integrations, and support models for Oracle EBS Financials.
• Drive automation and process improvements across financial close, reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, Controllership, Compliance, and Internal Audit to maintain accurate, compliant financial operations and SOX controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing, user acceptance testing, change management, and adoption for system changes.
• Manage cross-functional initiatives, vendors, implementation partners, and team development while monitoring system performance and data quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial systems leadership, including experience in biotechnology or another regulated industry.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials and core accounting processes including Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, audit support, financial reporting, ERP integrations, data flows, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience translating accounting and business requirements into scalable technical solutions and leading cross-functional projects.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with finance leaders, technical teams, auditors, and external partners.
