Manager, Finance Systems

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States

Base salary: $100,000–$200,000 USD per year, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead configuration and optimization of NetSuite ERP, Anaplan, and Zone Billing/CPQ systems.
• Maintain SOX-compliant controls, system access governance, audit readiness, and financial data integrity.
• Manage testing, documentation, communication, and change management for finance system updates.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Sales Operations, IT, and audit teams to translate system changes into business outcomes.
• Manage vendors, integrations, and third-party data feeds supporting finance operations.
• Drive improvements that reduce manual work, accelerate month-end close, and improve reporting confidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related business field.
• 5–10 years of experience managing and configuring finance ERP systems in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of SOX controls, access governance, and change management for financial applications.
• Understanding of general ledger, revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, and financial planning.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Xactly, Anaplan, Zone Billing, CPQ, or similar enterprise finance platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues, analyze discrepancies, and implement sustainable data-integrity solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience managing vendors and negotiating SLAs for critical finance applications.
• Experience working across IT, Accounting, Sales Operations, FP&A, and external audit stakeholders.
• Background in fast-growth SaaS or technology companies with evolving revenue models.
