Electrification Engineering Intern (Vehicle Electrification)

Location: Greencastle, Pennsylvania, United States. The role combines office-based work with physical activity in field or production environments.

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support the design and redesign of high-voltage electrical systems and subsystems for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, data collection, and analysis under supervision.
• Assist with electrical component research, selection, design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support software development by writing and modifying code, creating scripts and tools, analyzing data, and documenting changes.
• Assist with vehicle electrification system integration, validation, and compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering groups and follow shop safety practices across office, field, and production settings.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to perform detailed computer-based work and occasional physical tasks, including walking, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work at the Greencastle, Pennsylvania location and in field or production environments.
• Must follow applicable engineering standards, regulations, safety policies, and professional procedures.
