Environmental Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite role in office, field, and production environments

Salary: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support environmental and safety team activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Help reduce costs, improve efficiency, and support environmental compliance initiatives.
• Use value stream mapping to analyze material flow and eliminate waste.
• Work with waste records, sampling, paint logs, and water meters.
• Assist with environmental audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Be a sophomore-level or more advanced student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Communicate effectively with individuals at different management levels.
• Perform office, field, and production-floor duties, including walking, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
