Territory Manager (C-Store Retail)

Location: Houston, TX, United States; weekly travel of up to 95% is required.

Salary: $70,400–$105,600 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operations across convenience-store sites and ensure compliance with company image, maintenance, environmental, and safety standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and manage the performance of store managers across multiple locations.
• Monitor fuel and store inventory, cash controls, expenses, profit and loss reports, sales, and overall profitability.
• Execute company promotions, review competitive pricing, and maintain promotional displays across locations.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, vendor promotions, and communication between stores and internal departments.
• Handle escalated customer complaints, unusual occurrences, maintenance issues, and coverage of other territories as needed.

Requirements

• Progressive retail experience, including 3+ years managing multi-unit retail, restaurant, or service organizations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience sourcing, onboarding, developing, managing, and resolving conflicts among employees across multiple units.
• Ability to interpret initiatives, maximize sales, control expenses, and improve profitability in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel weekly up to 95%. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
