Store Manager (Retail)

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations for the new flagship store and cafe, delivering a high-touch experience for retail customers and trade clients.
• Build and lead the store team, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and coaching.
• Develop the trade program and build relationships with interior designers, architects, specifiers, and the local design community.
• Maintain visual merchandising, interior design standards, customer service, and consultative sales across the store and cafe.
• Manage budgets, sales, expenses, KPIs, promotions, events, and initiatives to increase traffic and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, security, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in retail, interior design, and/or trade, with luxury brand experience preferred.
• At least 4 years of retail leadership experience; cafe experience is a plus.
• Extensive experience delivering high-level customer service and building long-term customer relationships.
• Strong communication, collaboration, delegation, decision-making, team leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite products; Shopify experience is a plus.
• Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor and lift or move items weighing up to 75 lbs. using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
