Controls Engineering Intern (Electrical & Controls)

Location: Greencastle, Pennsylvania, United States. Onsite work combines office duties with physical activity in field or production environments.

Salary: $18.00–$37.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, and testing of electric-over-hydraulic control systems.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and build and install wire harnesses.
• Follow written test procedures and learn to operate digital multimeters.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, instrumentation, and component issues.
• Support control-system startup and qualification on new equipment.
• Execute controls projects under the guidance of engineering.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, robotics, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work across office, field, and production environments, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
