Robotic Programming/Welding Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, United States; core hours on 1st shift

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, program, maintain, and troubleshoot welding robots.
• Train others and provide technical support to manufacturing teams on robot programming, tooling, and related processes.
• Assist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.
• Design welding programs for safe, accurate weld execution and improved operations.
• Identify and coordinate robotics projects involving new technology and capital equipment installation.
• Read blueprints, interpret symbols and assemblies, and support failure analysis.

Requirements

• Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in weld engineering, robotics, mechatronics, programming, engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, United States.
• Ability to combine office-based computer work with physical activity in production environments.
• Ability to stand, walk across shop floors, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and work around varying temperatures or noise levels.

Nice to have

• Fabrication background.
• Experience with offline programming.
