Senior Manager, Strategic FP&A

Location: Enact Headquarters, Raleigh, North Carolina; hybrid schedule with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday

What you will do

• Own and steward the enterprise financial model across forecasting, planning, long-range outlooks, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead the redesign and modernization of financial modeling capabilities, including scalable structures, governance, documentation, and modeling standards.
• Build analytical frameworks connecting operational, financial, and strategic business drivers.
• Develop scenario models for business performance, capital deployment, growth opportunities, and emerging risks.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Risk, Corporate Development, and business leaders on acquisitions, strategic investments, and diversification opportunities.
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership while leading strategic initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, financial modeling, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical roles.
• Extensive experience developing, enhancing, and governing complex financial models for forecasting, planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decisions.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, capital planning, and the relationships among the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Advanced analytical, financial modeling, communication, Excel, PowerPoint, financial planning, business intelligence, and data visualization skills.
• Experience with automation, AI-enabled tools, advanced analytics, cross-functional initiatives, and stakeholder management in a matrixed environment.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or professional certification in finance.
• Investment banking experience.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, mortgage insurance, banking, or another regulated industry.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, strategic investments, or enterprise planning platform implementations.
