MEP Superintendent - CX (Data Center)

Location: Alexandria, United States; on-site construction work and travel to project sites are required, with availability for long-term out-of-town assignments.

Estimated pay: $89,600–$172,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage on-site MEP construction and commissioning activities for assigned projects, including a large data center project.
• Direct field operations, trade contractors, suppliers, site productivity, schedules, budgets, quality, and project documentation.
• Develop and enforce site-specific safety and quality-control plans, conduct inspections, and support an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, owner, design team, government agencies, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead constructability reviews, pre-construction planning, procurement scheduling, punch-list management, and project closeout.
• Support proposals, presentations, client relationships, business development, and industry engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of directly related experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 10+ years of directly related experience.
• Experience with construction management and project software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and related project management tools.
• Strong understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, life-cycle costing, safety compliance, and construction operations.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
• Ability to work on construction sites, travel to project sites, accept long-term out-of-town assignments, and work in extreme climate conditions.
• Ability to perform physical site duties, including climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, repetitive motion, and occasionally moving up to 100 pounds.
