Quality Engineer (Blades & Vanes)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; approximately 25% travel to supplier locations across North America.

What you will do

• Improve the quality of hot gas components produced by suppliers using data analysis and quality metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Conduct technical reviews and build supplier relationships to resolve quality issues and meet implementation and production milestones.
• Reduce supplier costs, delivery times, and non-conformance through supply chain analysis and process improvements.
• Collaborate with project, quality, supplier management, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide input to the technology roadmap for future product development and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with quality methodologies and manufacturing management, preferably involving turbine hot gas parts.
• Project management, organizational, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent English is required; willingness to learn German is expected.
• Intercultural competence and willingness to travel approximately 25%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
