Senior Cloud Systems Administrator (Cloud Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Lead infrastructure teams responsible for cloud and on-premises services.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Manage system performance, availability, security, capacity, and resource optimization.
• Support cloud migration projects and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with technical, business, and customer stakeholders on cloud strategies and transformation initiatives.
• Improve automation, monitoring, documentation, policies, and infrastructure standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud administration and broader IT infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in public and private cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or VMware.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization, storage, networking, security, Active Directory, and identity and access management.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or comparable automation tools.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps methodologies.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom and eligibility for applicable UK Government and contractual security requirements are required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CCNP, or CompTIA Cloud+.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
