What you will do
- Own the design and delivery of scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions across physical and cloud environments.
- Manage Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Azure services, and Microsoft 365.
- Lead the migration and integration of workloads to Microsoft Azure and drive cloud adoption best practices.
- Design and implement networking solutions including access points, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Define and own the backup and disaster recovery strategy across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and act as the senior escalation point (Tier 3/4) for complex incidents.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering with a track record of leading migration or transformation projects.
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud (Azure), on-premise environments, and enterprise networking.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Server, and Microsoft Intune.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell and experience with IaC (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs).
- Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in London.
Nice to have
- Technical certifications such as CCNA, Security+, Azure Administrator Associate, or Solutions Architect Expert.
- Solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL principles.
