Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Location: Hybrid role based predominantly at the hirify.global Head Office in Enderby, Leicester, with occasional visits to regional UK sites.

What you will do

• Manage, monitor, and support Azure, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, load balancers, storage, and backup infrastructure.
• Resolve incident and request tickets and execute maintenance, software updates, and configuration changes.
• Plan platform upgrades, capacity improvements, service roadmaps, and vendor-recommended refreshes.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with IT teams on technology projects and maintain system documentation, operational guides, and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide shift-based operational coverage, participate in on-call support, and support maintenance windows and peak sales periods.

Requirements

• Strong third-line support experience with Azure, Windows Server, virtualization, storage, load balancing, and backup or recovery technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to support out-of-hours maintenance, on-call rotations, and peak business periods.
• Full UK Driving Licence required for occasional visits to regional UK sites.
