Financial Relationship Banker (Banking)

What you will do

• Retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs.
• Recommend deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.
• Provide customer service and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Generate relationship-growth opportunities through appointments, referrals, follow-up programs, and internal partnerships.
• Educate customers on online, mobile, and ATM banking technology.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, business-to-business sales, or a qualifying military administration role.
• Fingerprinting and additional background checks are required under NMLS regulations.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, relationship-building ability, and comfort with online and mobile banking technology.
• Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, retail sales, or business-to-business sales.
• Knowledge of investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, and presentation skills.
