Senior Relationship Banker (Retail Banking)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States of America; onsite branch role with face-to-face customer interaction.

Salary: $24.87–$41.45 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop, expand, and retain customer relationships through portfolio management, proactive outreach, appointments, referrals, and consultative sales.
• Identify customer needs, prepare interaction plans, open accounts, conduct follow-ups, and support retail and business banking solutions.
• Evaluate financing requests, recommend loan structures, and submit complete loan application packages.
• Explain consumer debt, mortgage, HELOC, Business Banking, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services products.
• Build referral relationships with community contacts and internal business partners, and attend networking events.
• Maintain compliance, fraud prevention, KYC, CIP, audit, internal control, and Federal SAFE Act registration requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus either 3 years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience, or 2 years of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge and the ability to communicate tactfully with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and standard communication equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers for prolonged periods, lift 5–30 lb objects, read fine print, and interact with customers face to face.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Notary public license.
• At least 3 years of financial services sales experience.
• Additional language skills based on branch needs.
