Senior Director, Commercialization Technology Architect (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid work is available up to two days remotely per week, or the role may be performed on-site five days per week.

Base salary: $228,000–$342,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Define and govern target-state architecture, reference architectures, integration patterns, and engineering standards across Commercial and Medical ecosystems.
• Design data flows and integrations across Salesforce, Veeva, enterprise data platforms, and downstream systems using APIs, event-driven patterns, and batch architectures.
• Establish cloud, data, environment, deployment, DevOps, observability, and architecture documentation standards.
• Lead build-versus-buy-versus-partner decisions and serve as the final architecture authority for design reviews and major platform decisions.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Data, InfoSec, Legal, Privacy, and Quality teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, distributed systems, complex integrations, and data architecture at scale.
• Strong experience with CRM and commercial platforms, including Salesforce and Veeva.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and data warehouse platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and modern data stacks including Databricks.
• Experience designing AI, machine learning, and LLM-based systems, including AI architecture patterns such as MCP.
• Expertise in security, privacy, compliance, and regulated environments, including SOX and GxP.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 12+ years of enterprise or solution architecture experience.
