Sr. Director, Solution Architecture (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the United States, with 2–3 days per week on site at NYHQ in New York City or hirify.global's Collegeville, Pennsylvania site. Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization. U.S. visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base salary: $214,900–$358,100, plus a 22.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Define and govern architectural blueprints, integration standards, technology standards, and reuse patterns across the Medical Affairs digital portfolio.
• Design enterprise platforms, data integrations, autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents, multi-agent workflows, and LLM-based solutions.
• Establish environment strategy, ALM, CI/CD, model-tuning, RAG, vector database, telemetry, security, and Responsible AI practices.
• Integrate solutions with Veeva CRM, PromoMats, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Translate complex architecture into business strategy for senior executives and align product, engineering, compliance, security, and quality stakeholders.
• Manage a UX Designer and Scrum Master while coordinating matrixed engineering resources and external systems integrators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in IT, systems architecture, or digital engineering, including 8+ years as a hands-on Solution Architect.
• Experience designing AI-oriented solutions using LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, AI/NLP implementations, and LLMOps/AIOps pipelines.
• Deep expertise in modern cloud architecture, including AWS or Azure, API-first design, and complex data integrations.
• Practical understanding of Veeva CRM and the Salesforce ecosystem, including Life Sciences Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available. The role requires on-site work 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a technical or business-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals, including Medical Affairs, Field Medical, or digital HCP engagement.
• Experience with GxP, FDA regulations, software validation, MLR processes, GDPR, HIPAA, Agile/Scrum, or Design Thinking.
• AWS, Salesforce, or AI Engineering/Architecture certifications.
