Manager - Pole Administration (Electric Utility)

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts; hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.

Salary: $151,890–$168,770 annually, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead third-party attachment and double-pole administration across the Eversource territory.
• Manage requests, licensing fees, billing, rental fees, make-ready charges, and related payment processes.
• Coordinate with attachers, engineering and construction teams, joint owners, and external organizations to resolve attachment, make-ready, safety, and billing issues.
• Oversee pole equipment shifting, double-pole removal, regulatory reporting, and compliance with state-specific DPU requirements.
• Monitor applications, delinquencies, costs, revenues, data quality, and program performance.
• Manage, select, coach, and develop staff while leading process standardization and cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10–12 years of related experience, including supervisory and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of electric distribution systems, equipment, third-party attachments, utility operations, and applicable construction codes and regulations.
• Experience with energy delivery, distribution engineering or operations, joint utility work, external customers, billing, program administration, and regulatory commitments.
• Working knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting, databases, reporting, and analytical processes.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for emergency restoration assignments and travel between MA, CT, and NH.
